Monica Crane, MD currently operates a memory disorder clinic, Genesis Neuroscience Clinic. She is passionate about helping those living with Frontotemporal dementia. She is board certified in Geriatric Medicine.
Legal Planning for Families facing FTD
Glen Kyle, Esq. is an attorney with Franklin and Kyle Elder Law, LLC. As an elder law attorney, Glen assists families with life care planning, Medicaid benefits, estate planning, conservatorships, and probate and trust administration. He speaks frequently on legal issues facing those with dementia and their families.
How FTD Affects Communication
Treasyri Williams M.A.,CCC-SLP,CBIS is a speech language pathologist at Shirley Ryan Ability Lab in Chicago, IL. She will share her expertise on FTD, its impact on language, and discuss therapeutic approaches in treatment as well as in home strategies.
Nutrition and FTD
Kelly Ihnen, MS, RD/LN, is a Registered Dietician Nutritionist and Licensed Dietician Nutritionist in the state of Tennessee. She earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in dietetics and Nutrition from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. Currently she manages Acquired Taste Consulting.
Cost: The training will include all handouts as well as lunch. Conference fees are $25 for family care partners and $45 for professional care partners. Professional fee includes 5.5 CEUs for administrators of residential homes for the aged as well as assisted living facility administrators.
